Ann DeMello

Ann Mooney DeMello, age 77, of Waxhaw, formerly of Fall River, MA, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Westport, MA on September 2, 1938, daughter of the late John and Rose (Archer) Mooney.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Norman M. DeMello; two sons, Mark and Thomas DeMello; her twin sister, Carol Mooney Dirito and one brother, Michael Mooney.

Ann is survived by her siblings, Kathleen, John and Sean Mooney; her children, Steve, Rosemary, Gregory, Richard and Donna DeMello; two grandchildren,

K. Michael DeMello and Colyns Texarria; two great-grandsons, Austin and Ashton DeMello, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate Mrs. DeMello's life will follow at 7:00pm in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel.
