Mr. Bill R. Helms, age 74 passed away Sunday August 15, 2010 at his home in Hartsville, SC.
He was born December 26, 1935 in Union County, NC, a son of Mrs. Edna Helms Secrest and the late Mr. Cyrus Secrest.
In addition to his mother; Mr. Helms is also survived by one daughter: Gail H. Keziah of Monroe, NC; one son: Randy Helms of Monroe, NC; one sister: Barbara Sue Scheithauer of Tradesville, SC; five grandchildren; one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Saturday August 21, 2010 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe.
Funeral services for Mr. Helms will be 2:00 PM Saturday August 21, 2010 in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, with burial with full military honors to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service of Monroe is serving the family of Mr. Helms.
