Mr. Calvin "Cully" Tucker

He was born October 1, 1938, a son of the late Mr. Dock Caldwell Tucker and the late Mrs. Katie Lee Mullis Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by (one) brother, James Tucker and (one) sister, Mrs. Ruth Tucker Patterson.

Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife: Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Rushing Tucker of the home, (one) daughter: Mrs. Gail T. Martin and husband Joe of Monroe; (two) sons: Roger Tucker and wife Sandy of Monroe and Randy Tucker and wife Carolyn of Marshville, (seven) Grandchildren and (ten) Great-Grandchildren, (one) brother: Bruce Tucker and wife Peggy of Monroe,

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Wednesday April 2, 2014 from 1:30 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. at McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Tucker will begin at 3:00 P.M. in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, conducted by Rev. Tony Medlin and Rev. Lee Davis, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Euto Baptist Church, “ABRO” Mission Fund, 6019 Hwy # 205, Marshville, North Carolina 28103.

The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Camp, Dr. Roberts, Dr. Suresh and their staffs for all the helping care that they showed to “Cully” during his illness.
