Carla L Dahbi

She was formerly of Edenton, North Carolina and was born on August 23, 1963, in Chowan County, North Carolina.

After graduating high school, Carla attended Wingate University. She also served as President of Resident Council at Mecklenburg Health and Rehabilitation. She had a love for children and was a constant mentor to them and others along the way. Carla had many loves and interests in her life including sports, bingo, cooking, and keeping up with the current news. She had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs. She also worked as a nanny, travel agent, and a facilitator of carpet installations.

Carla is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Irvin Stanley and Grace Privott Blanchard and her paternal grandparents, Sidney Wallace White, Sr. and Elizabeth Jordan White; brother, Stanley Wallace White, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Chellie Bell White. She is survived by her parents, Sidney Wallace White, Jr. and Norma Blanchard White of Edenton, North Carolina; sister, Sandra Beck (Robbie Boykin) of Georgetown, South Carolina; and nephew, Stanley Wallace White, Jr. (Mikayla Williams) of San Antonio, Texas.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Mecklenburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, located at 2415 Sandy Porter Rd., Charlotte, North Carolina.
