Jeff, her son, described her as the “strongest woman he ever knew”. She loved the Lord and her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sherrill Stallings; her son, Gregory Stallings; her parents, Jonah and Etta Richardson; her brother, Kenneth Richardson; and sisters, Marilyn Melton and Dorothy Stack.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Stallings and daughters Rita Stallings and Janet Dixon as well as 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Friendly Baptist Church located at 5418 Friendly Baptist Church Rd. in Indian Trail with visitation at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Friendly Baptist Church. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family.
