Charlie (C.W.) Adcock, 63, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 24, 2016. Charlie was born January 10, 1953 in Union County, son of the late Charlie Alfred and Ella Lemmond Adcock. Charlie was retired as Union County Fire Marshall after many years of service.
Survivors include his wife; Rosemary S. Adcock, son; Lynn Adcock and wife Sharon, daughter; Zilphia Adcock and husband Frank A. Combs III, three grandchildren; Kara Adcock, Kristen Adcock and Wesley Combs, aunt; Blecker Thomas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 1:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. at Mill Grove United Methodist Church in Indian Trail. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 P.M. in the Church Sanctuary with Reverend Earl Bradshaw and Reverend Dr. Darryl Nance officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Union County Chapter Fire Fighters Burned Children’ s Fund, 7420 Price Tucker Rd., Monroe N.C. 28110.
