Born November 26, 1947, Donna resided in Monroe, North Carolina and was a lifelong Union County native.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Taylor, Sr. and Laura Jane Taylor. She is survived by her loving husband, Cherry Jones; son, Richard Jones (Kara); daughter, Tara Adcock (Walt); and grandchildren, Alex and Evan Jones, Will, Wyatt, Summer, and Wriston Adcock.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street in Monroe, North Carolina. A service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10:00 am in the McEwen Colonial Chapel with Reverend Tim Griffin presiding. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Lakeland Memorial Park.
