Mrs. Doris Kelly Nichol

Mrs. Doris Kelly Nichol, 84, retired registered nurse died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Mrs. Nichol was born March 22, 1929 in Rockingham N.C., daughter of the late Patrick and Bessie Braswell Kelly, she was also preceded in death by her husband; James Warren Nichol who died in 1997, and a brother William Kelly. Survivors include four sons; Dr. James P. Nichol of Washington D.C., David Nichol (Tommie S.) of Monroe, William R. Nichol of Indian Trail N.C., Michael Nichol of Monroe, three grandchildren; Justin Nichol, Jennifer Rushing (William) and Matt Nichol (Jennifer), four great grandchildren, one sister; Vivian Gregory of Raleigh N.C. Visitation for Mrs. Nichol will be Monday, April 1, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Memorial Services will be 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 2, 2012 in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, with Reverend Paul Saleeby officiating, interment will be at a later date at Lakeland Memorial Park.
