I am so sorry for the loss of such a great person. My deepest sympathy to the family.
Many years ago I spent countless times talking with Ed about everything from Tar Heels to life in general. Ed was always an honest person with me.
Ed and I shared a special bond in Masonry.
Ed was a trusting soul that spoke about his children daily. Always the proud father.
I valued Ed's opinions completely.
Ed was one of the best individuals I have met in my life.
God Bless Ed and his family.

Eddie was a great friend and I have many good memories. I enjoyed going to the back row to joke with Eddie and Ann on Sunday mornings at FBC.

Ann and Eddie would come by my office at UCPS and bring me beautiful creations where he had cut them out and she had painted them. What a treat that was!

He always had a smile and I shall miss him greatly.

I will miss my friend, Eddie. He was a back row Baptist at FBC Monroe( with me). I remember he and Ann sitting together and holding hands. They were so good for each other❤️. He was such a nice man. I have some beautiful flowers in my yard that he has given me over the years.
Much love to his family
