Mrs. Edna Mae Rushing, 97, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-Union. Mrs. Rushing was born July 11, 1918 in Kent Ohio, daughter of the late Harry and Irene Kinsley Griggy. She was also preceded in death by her husband Donald T. Rushing who died in 2007, and a daughter Virginia Mae Stegall.
Graveside services are Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Survivors include one sister Florence Griggy of Ohio, Son-in-law Bobby R. Stegall of Marshville N.C., several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.
McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service of Monroe is serving the family of Mrs. Rushing.
