Elsie Ross Baucom

She was born on March 10, 1935 to Bob and Ethel Ross Griffin.

Along with her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Avery Baucom and brother, Bobby Griffin. She is survived by her children, Kim Baucom (Clancy) and Jill Watts (Greg Demby); grandchildren, Kendra, Callie, and Carmen Baucom, Amanda Cummings (Michael), Abby Fincher (Dane Lynch), and Trey Fincher (Bethany); and great-grandchildren, Aria Meadows and Avery Fincher.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street, Monroe, North Carolina. A funeral service to celebrate Elsie’s life will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe in the McEwen Colonial Chapel with burial immediately following the service at Lakeland Memorial Park.
