Emma Roach

The family will receive friends Thursday evening March 16th from 6 to 8pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, NC. A service to celebrate her life will be held at McEwen Funeral Home on Friday, March 17th at 11am with burial to follow at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. Pastor Mac Mullis and Pastor Carol Anthony will officiate the services.

Mrs. Roach was the daughter of the late Ed and Eula Riggins Price of Pageland, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Doyle Roach and her brother James Price of Fort Mill, SC.

Mrs. Roach is survived by her sister Mary Estelle Arant and husband Charles of Pageland, SC; a son, Don Roach and wife Phyllis of Cornelius, NC; daughters, Sandra Thomas, Pamela Emanuel, both of Monroe, NC, Katherine Austin and husband Tom of Pageland, SC; granddaughters, Kimberly McManus and her husband Jeff of Monroe, NC, April Edwards and husband Tommy of Unionville, NC; grandsons, Kevin Mills, Jerry Funderburk, Robert Funderburk and wife Audrey, all of Monroe, NC, Robbie Griffin of Pageland, SC, Eddie Griffin and wife Sharon of Ruby, SC, Scott Roach and wife Tara, Steven Roach and wife Shannon, all of Lincolnton, NC; 17 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests any contributions be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.
