Our mother was a strong, forgiving woman who weathered life’s trials and disappointments with amazing grace. As her grandsons said she was the very definition of love. The wonderful memories and the legacy she leaves will be a source of strength and comfort as we celebrate her life and the blessing she was to all.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate her life will begin at 2:00pm in McEwen Funeral Home’s Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Esther’s family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and love to her caregivers who not only loved and cared for Mom but also our family. We could not have kept her at home where she wanted to be without Sadielean, Connie, Robin, Janie, and Vicky. We love you.
A random act of kindness would honor Esther’s memory or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the McAteer family.
