She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ament; her granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Ament and her siblings, Eleanor Ball, Conrad Kardash and Vera Suit. Mrs. Ament is survived by her two sons, Leonard Ament (Barbara) and Gregory Ament; her grandchildren, Christine Hawks and Ryan Ament (Jenny); her great-grandchildren, Courtney Hawks, Kensey Hawks, Ethan Ament and Gabriel Ament.
Jean worked at The Record in Hackensack NJ for many years and she retired from Main Lock in Hackensack, NJ.
