He was born in Chicago, IL on April 8, 1960, son of the late Felix and Geraldine Santana. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Griffin.
Jerry accepted the Lord on October 2, 1988 and rededicated his life to the Lord on July 30, 2017 at Bright Spot Baptist Church in Monroe NC. He was very faithful in listening to Bright Spot Baptist Church livestream services when he could not attend. Anyone who knew Jerry knew that he loved and cared for everyone. He never passed up the opportunity to take pictures of his kids and grandkids. Jerry was a picture of what a "mama's boy" really meant and he was proud of it! Let's no forget about his lilman dog. Jerry was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan - win or lose! Jerry was always being silly and was the one in the crowd who made everyone laugh.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Felicia Holmes (Andrew); his son, Jeremy Santana (Carlan); his grandchildren, Alexander Holmes, Kelsey Holmes, Karter Holmes, Samantha Holmes and Maddox Santana; his sister, Jackie Misenheimer (Bruce) and by his brother, Joseph Santana (Laura).
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 1:00pm Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Bright Spot Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Santana will begin at 1:00pm in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Mr. Jerry Santana.
