Frank Whitley

He was born on September 15, 1950, to the late Carl and Maude Whitley.

A Union County native, Frank was a graduate of Sun Valley High School. He was a former employee at J. Walter Helms Woodwork as well as a member of Shining Light Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his aunt, Faire Crooke.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Shining Light Baptist Church, located at 2541 Old Charlotte Hwy, Monroe, North Carolina. A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held following the visitation at 6:00 pm with Pastor Tim Cruse officiating. A graveside committal service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 11:00 am at Lakeland Memorial Park, located at 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, North Carolina.
