On behalf of Southeastern Freight Lines, we mourn the passing of Mike. We appreciate his 40 years of service and he made our company better. I personally have fond memories of him many years ago when he was a PD Driver. He was one of the hardest working people I knew and did so with a grateful heart. I was always amazed at what he could accomplish. He was a loyal associate and a dear friend. Mike finished strong as a Regional Safety Manager. Knowing him, he finished strong in life. Alice, we are saddened for you and your family. He spoke of you often. We will miss his smile, his unique laugh, and his never ending optimism.

Mike was definitely one of a kind! His sense of humor was which I have such fond memories. He was a loving and giving man to my sister Alice, my nephews and his grand-babies! I have so many enjoyable memories of weekend visits enjoying their pool and he sure could cook a mean BBQ!
Mike you will be missed greatly. I know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! We all will see that famous smile again! We love you!

Mike was a very sweet, loving man. You could see the love he had for his wife Alice, he loved his grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We have known him for 3 years, and you couldn’t ask for a nicer man as he was to all of us. He was always so happy. I can’t believe the last time we had seen him, was going to be the last time. We are keeping you all in our prayers. May god be with each and everyone, and comfort you through this time.
