Gerald Dee Tucker, age 73, of Monroe, passed away on November 9, 2014. He was born in Union County on March 8, 1941. Gerald was married to Mary L. Tucker for 35 years. He owned and operated Tucker Tree Service for over 50 years.
Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his sons, Phil and Jerry Tucker.
He is survived by his wife Mary L. Tucker; and his children, Becky Edwards, Sonya Smith, Jackie Tucker and Robin Alcala.
A visitation will be held at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with the burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
