Mr. Harold Dean Dean Thomas

Mr. Harold Dean Thomas, 71, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Tuesday November 12, 2013 at Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Indian Trail NC. His many years of struggle with Aphasia has now ended and the Lord has taken him home. Dean was born September 15, 1942 in New Salem NC, Union County. He was the son of the late James Buford Thomas and Ona Mae Thomas Roberts, survivors include three sons, Richard Thomas of Charlotte, NC, Randy Thomas and wife Tammy of Monroe, NC, James Thomas of Wingate, NC, and one grandson, Colton Thomas of Monroe, NC, one brother, Melvin Thomas and wife Mary of Hickory, NC, two sisters, Tina Helms of Charlotte NC and Deana Guenther of Nashville. TN. Dean was a Dry Wall Contractor most of his life. He lived in Clearwater Beach, Fl. For many years and moved back to his roots in New Salem for several years and then to Charlotte, NC with his sister. Viewing will be Friday, November 15, 2013 from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7002 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Marshville NC 28103 Services to celebrate the life of Dean will began at 3:00 P .M. in the Church Sanctuary, with Reverend John Miller officiating, interment will follow in the Church Cemetery followed by visitation of family members in the church fellowship hall.
