Mr Fletcher has greatly impacted my life and the lives of my family. I hardly know where to begin We have known the Fletchers since I can remember.
Mr Fletcher was a brilliant man A Renaissance man He was a botanist an organic farmer a bike-rider a swimmer a singer a family man a kind man but most of all he was a Christian He was a walking example of Christian love. He practiced what he preached. When my mother was sick he would come by and sit with her. They would sing songs in Spanish. I cannot express how grateful I am to him. I cannot express how much I respected and loved and still love Mr Fletcher I miss him so much The memories I have of Mr Fletcher flood my spirit and I feel so grateful and so sad. But mostly grateful that I had the privilege and blessing of having known him.

Uncle Sidney was such a godly man who loved and served our Lord with diligence and joy! He loved the Fletcher and Stanley families very much and was a generous, loving uncle to the Stanley family cousins! Intelligence, with a great sense of humor, made for many serious conversations and many more moments of laughter! My numerous memories will last a lifetime! He and Aunt Myzelle always "had my back" and many others can say the same! Rest in Peace, Uncle Sidney! You will not be forgotten! Until we meet again . . .

Years ago, when I was the Aquatic Director at the Wingate University pool, Dr Fletcher was a regular lap swimmer. I gave him some goggles especially for lap swimming, which he appreciated. Dr Fletcher will be missed, for the community lost a great and good person in him. RIH, Dr Fletcher.
