A longtime resident Monroe, Henry served his country as part of the 82nd airborne division of the Army Aircorp. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee of the Springs Industry for 42 years.
Henry enjoyed music and with his family created a band called The Family Circle. He also loved to go to jam sessions and "pick" music with some of his best friends throughout his life.
He was a hardworking man who could fix or build anything. He enjoyed farming and tending to his cows.
Henry was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather and great-grandfather that adored and cared for his family, especially his wife and best friend, Brenda. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brenda Laney Haston; daughter, Annette Weed and her husband, Tadgh; son, Russell Haston and his wife Tamra; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Prospect United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm with burial immediately following at the church cemetery.
