I have many fond memories of Mr. Jim at our High School baseball and basketball games. He was a faithful to come to all the games. I really enjoyed talking with him. He was always very friendly and kind to me. I cannot say he was always kind to the umpires but I loved him in the stands cheering us on, keeping umpires in check. Rick what a privilege it was for us to play ball and have your Dad cheering us on. My sincere condolences and you all are in my prayers.

Somehow, whenever I think of Uncle Jim, baseball always comes up. I am old enough to remember him in a baseball uniform sitting on our grandmother's sofa telling us all a story full of fun and laughter. Funny how certain memories are so strong and stay with you always.
Uncle Jim was a wonderful person, but I could never think of him without Aunt Nancy. Jim and Nancy, to me, were just the perfect couple. He was so handsome and Nancy was so beautiful. Nancy was the love of his life. I am truly heartbroken for his wonderful family that he leaves behind. I pray that you will all find comfort in knowing that this wonderful couple will be together once again.

My condolences to the family and friends of Jim Lemmond. I only knew Jim through his work at the Weddington Swim and Racquet Club. I enjoyed his kind demeanor, warm smile and the brief chats I had with him! He always performed his job efficiently and with a smile. Our prayers are with you all. Deidre Miesse & family
