I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Joyce's passing.  I have such fond memories of your family while you all were at Ansonville Baptist Church.  In my eyes, you were such a sweet couple and so devoted to each other with four beautiful children. You played a very important part of my spiritual growth during your time there.  Mrs Joyce was a wonderful christian lady.

I have so many precious memories shared with Joyce growing up and which has continued over the years.  She was such a "light" for the Lord and always smiling.  We loved both she and Charles and we will be praying for Charles and all the family.  It will be tough but the Lord will supply your needs, love, comfort, strength and peace. Sorry to hear about your loss, Joyce was such a sweet lady, I remember the days at Ansonville Baptist Church, I enjoyed your time there more than any other one before are after, Maybe cause I was at the same age as your children, and we all got along so well. Enjoyed all the sermons, and the closeness ya'll brought with ya'll when you came there. I remember how sad when You decided to move on. I know she is with the Lord now, may God bless you all!.

I probably met Joyce when I was 5 or 6 years old, when her mother married my grandpa. She and Charles lived in the same house as Ms. Dora (whom our family grew to love) and my grandfather for a while. She was always a wonderful, loving, sweet, HAPPY person and we felt "related" even though we weren't. Our families remained in touch for many years and our affection for Joyce and Charles remained strong even though we lost touch. My sympathy and love to Charles and all the children. I loved seeing the pictures - if I could find it, I would post one I have of our two families celebrating Ms. Dora's birthday together back in the 50s! Love, Trudy Austin Cox

I enjoyed taking care of Mrs. Broome and her family. The sweetest couple I know. She had a special place in my heart as well as Mr. Broome. It is hard to say goodbye but I know that I will see her again one day. And I know she is smiling down on us helping us get through our days at work. I love you guys, let me know if I can do anything for you.
