Mrs. Kathleen Williams Connell

Mrs. Kathy W. Connell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from her residence. Kathy was the daughter of the late Lloyd Union and Verona E. Williams and was also preceded in death by her first husband Laddie N. Connell, who died in 1981 and a daughter Kathy Darleen Connell-Mullis who died in 2013, Siblings: Jimmy Wayne Williams, Leamon Williams, Alvie Kenneth Williams, Dorothy L. Williams Larry Ray Williams and Hoyle W. Williams. She was the original owner and operator of Dar’Lynns Florist and Bridal Shop and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Charles Richard Penegar, a daughter Terry De-Lynn Connell Davis and husband( Brent William Davis I), grandchildren: Ashton Davis (Andrew), Brent William Davis II (Sarah), Brittany Flowers (Chris), Morgan Kathleen Davis, Tara Woody (Tim Broome), Christy Byrum (Scott), Kasey Mullis (Angela), great grandchildren: Kayleigh McClain ( Scott), Hunter Woody, Landen Woody, Steven Byrum (Sheena), Sierra Byrum, Shelly Byrum, Tyler Tucker, Owen Tucker, Blake Byrum, Brent William Davis III (Tripp), Jacob Davis, Kinsley Mullis, brother: Oren Lee Williams. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Services to celebrate the life of Kathy will be Saturday, April 18, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Reverend Jack Hildreth and Reverend Paul Saleeby officiating, interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
