Kenneth D. Baucom, 52, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Carolina’s Medical Center-Union. Kenneth was born June 19, 1962 in Atlanta Ga., son of the late William D. and Rachel Elizabeth Starnes Baucom, he was also preceded in death by two sisters: Debbie Cranford and Evelyn Baucom, a brother Randy Baucom. Visitation was Thursday evening at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Services to celebrate the life of Kenneth will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 3. 2014 in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, interment will be at a later date. Survivors include his wife; Robin Helms Baucom of the home, one son; Matthew Brian Baucom (Keisha) of Monroe, seven grandchildren, one brother; Timothy Daniel Baucom of Kershaw S.C., three sisters; Cathy Crenshaw of Wallace S.C., Lorie Merritt of Lancaster S.C. and Lisa D.
