

He was born in Union County on November 28, 1948, son of the late James and Loma Broome. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Broome.
Larry played the keyboard for Village Greene Band and taught guitar lessons at Holloways Music. He loved music and playing with his lifelong friends and with various musicians throughout the years.
Larry is survived by his fiancé, Elaine Helms; his brother, Jerry Broome; his children, Travis Broome and Cindy Marsh; his grandchildren, Erin Pfington (Carson) and Steven Marsh (Vickie) and his great- grandchildren, Wyatt, Sawyer and Cash Pfington.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Broome will begin at 12:00pm in the church sanctuary with Pastor Rich Myers officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Oak Grove Baptist Church Praise Team.
