She was born in Murphy N.C. on June 16, 1945. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Ola Helms; her step-father, Roland Helms; her brothers, Bruce Helms, Jerry Helms and Jimmy Helms.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Cecil Alexander; her daughter, Tracy Keeter; her grandsons, Steven Craig (Gracie) and Robbie Craig (Lindsey); her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Craig; her brother Bryan Helms; her sister, Cathy Heflin (Steve) and by a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Monday, December 23, 2019 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe . A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Alexander will begin at 1:00pm in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
