Linda Sue Dixon

Linda Sue Dixon, 74, of Monroe went to be with her Lord on May 2, 2019. She was born in Mt. Holly, North Carolina on November 7, 1944 to the late Bill and Inez Mason. Sue was proud to be a military wife, living in many different states. She was an avid bowler and loved Elvis but most of all, she loved her family and being a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Sue is predeceased by her son, L. Tony Dixon and brother, Bill Mason II. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Lesley Dixon; children, Linda Lois (Harold) Johnson, Kevin Dixon and Scott Dixon; grandchildren, Krystal, David, Jacob, Katherine, Will, Shyann and Kenny; sister, Kay Walker; daughter-in-law, Carol Dixon and her life-long friend, Judy Long. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 5 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, May 6 at McEwen immediately followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Garden in Charlotte.

Sue will be truly missed !!! I have been bowling with her since 1984 and have so many memories of the good times we had together. My thoughts and prayers are with Leslie and the entire Dixon family at this time of great loss. This picture was taken at the last tournament that she was able to participate in.
