Lynda Ross Couick

She was born in Union County on April 11, 1942, daughter of the late Johnny and Nora Ross. Lynda enjoyed her career of 30 years as a teacher's assistant at both Union Elementary and Wesley Chapel Elementary Schools. In addition to her parents, Lynda is predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Donnie Couick and brothers, Johnny C. Ross and Tim R. Ross. She is survived by her son, Mike Couick of Monroe; her sister, Jocelyn R. Griffin of Monroe and brothers, Tommy Ross of Monroe and Bobby Ross of Elgin, SC.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church. A service to celebrate Lynda's life will begin at 2:00 pm in the church sanctuary with interment following at Lakeland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mountain Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 2509 Mountain Springs Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112.
