Margie B. Crook

Born in Anson County, she later moved to Union County where she resided in Wingate. She loved cooking and attending church at Shining Light Baptist Church where she faithfully served in various ministries. She also worked in the family plumbing business for over 30 years. She especially loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents, Bradley and Irene Baker; husband, Marvin Crook; brother, Harold Baker; and sister, Linda Wall. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Crook; sons, Dwayne Crook (Carrie) and Brian Crook (Kari); 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Shining Light Baptist Church, located at 2541 Old Charlotte Highway, Monroe, North Carolina. A service to celebrate her life will be held following the visitation at 2:00 pm. Burial will then follow the service at Lakeland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shining Light Baptist Church.
