Matthew Lucas Pierce, 29, of Monroe, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Born and raised in Monroe, he was an accomplished artist. Matthew loved anime and action comics as well as reading science fiction and mythological fantasy. He was a devoted father and loved his son, Aiden Ryan Pierce, with all of his heart.
Matthew is predeceased by his half-brother, Ryan Hill. In addition to his son, Aiden, Matthew is survived by his mother, Teresa Pierce; father, Christopher Hill and siblings, Mystery, Jessie and Hattie.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Matthew's life will be held at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Wednesday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service.
