I'm so sorry for the loss of a very special lady. We have loved her for most of our lives, all of you mean so much to our family. Ms. Mildred was like a second mom to us especially those beach trips we took when we were growing up, that's a memory I'll never forget. Also she made my days visiting her and uncle Travis go by much better. She always had a smile for me when I went in and still smiling when we would leave. She will be truly missed but we know she's in Heaven and things are so much better there. Our love to you and all your family. God Bless you all.

Thought of your mom often and said prayers for her. Aunt Dorothy loved it when I picked her up and suggested visiting with your mom at the nursing home. It didn't matter what time of day it was, Mildred always gave us a very warm welcome. Her eyes would light up when she saw us, and she always greeted us with a big smile and as we would be leaving, she would tell us "thank you for coming and to come back soon". She was also proud of the way all of you had helped decorate her room to make it look and feel feel more homelike. Today I can just picture Aunt Dorothy being one of those greeting your mom in heaven, and they both will have a smile on their face.
