She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Wayne Plattenberger of Mineral Springs; sister, Betty, of Rutherfordton; and her daughter, JoNell Miller. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, David Hudson and Anna Kerr (Chad); and two great-grandchildren, Noah Hudson (Kelsey) and Caden Kerr.
Norma spent her days after retirement volunteering in Union County and loved to cook for her loved ones as well as spend her days at the beach.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Norma’s life will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 4:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street in Monroe, North Carolina, 28112.
