Patsy Lee Manus Griffin

Mrs. Patsy Manus Griffin, age 66, passed away Tuesday July 6, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center- Mercy in Charlotte, NC. She was born April 29, 1944 in Union County, NC, the daughter of the late Mr. Joe Baxter Manus and the late Mrs. Bertha Helms Manus. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griffin was also preceded in death by two brothers: Joe Manus and Harvey Manus; one sister: Lula Bell M. Helms.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her husband: Arnold W. Griffin of the home; one daughter: Cindy G. Horne of Waxhaw, NC; one son: David A. Griffin and wife Helen of Waxhaw, NC; five grandchildren: Amber Horne, Trevor Horne, Scott Griffin, Megan Griffin, and Hannah Griffin.

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Thursday July 8, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe.

Funeral services for Mrs. Griffin will be 2:00 PM Friday July 9, 2010 at New Life Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Rick Godwin, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.

The family suggests memorials be made to New Life Baptist Church Building Fund, 826 Willoughby Road, Monroe, NC 28110
