Patty Sue Twitty, age 58 of Monroe, passed away on March 25, 2016. She was born in Union County on December 25, 1957 to the late Cyrus and Louise Pressley. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Price.
Patty is survived by her sons, James Adam Newell Sr. and Corey Ray Newell; and her grandchildren, James Adam Newell Jr., Summer Diane Newell, Darrel Philman and David Philman.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at New Faith Baptist Church in Monroe. A funeral service will take place 2:00pm Tuesday at New Faith Baptist Church with burial to follow in Marshville City Cemetery.
