Randy had the most genuine smile ever. It lit up his face, and everyone else's around him. That's what we first think of. But mostly, he was a great friend, and good soul. Our prayers are with him, and his family.
(Fred has been trying to call him. An Internet search just today revealed this news).
We're so sorry for your loss!

I met Randy 9 years ago when I moved into the apartments in Matthews and we instantly clicked. Our love for country music and Duke basketball were just a few of the many things that connected us. I will always remember the hours spent either at the pool or on his balcony with me mostly talking and him always being a listening ear. He was there to celebrate the good days with me and was there as my friend in some of my darkest days to be a shoulder to cry on and to remind of Gods love and Grace and for that I will be forever grateful for. He will be missed greatly. My love and condolences to his family and to all that knew and loved him. May God bring continued peace and may you find joy in the memories you hold.
