Terry was a hardworking farmer who enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially hunting birds and fishing. He was also known as a barbecue pit master and enjoyed preparing food for those around him. Terry dedicated many years of service to his community as Fire Chief of the Wesley Chapel Fire Department, serving the department for 35 years.
Terry is survived by his daughter, Brandy Sinclair; son-in-law, Troy Sinclair; granddaughters, Leah Sinclair and Lexi Sinclair; bonus daughter, Amanda Langston; bonus grandchildren, Allison Langston and Addallee Langston; brother, Doug Byrum; and sister, Shirley Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Byrum; mother, Inez Byrum; and grandson, Logan Sinclair.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Lee Park Baptist Church, with visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lee Park Baptist Church.
