Thomas Wallace Ross Jr.

Mr. Thomas Wallace Ross Jr., 78, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Jesse Helms Nursing Center of Monroe. Mr. Ross was born March 30, 1938 in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Dr. Thomas Wallace Ross Sr. and the late Marguerite Ritch Ross. Thomas was a retired Social Worker with Mecklenburg County and a Korean War Veteran. Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2017 from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, services to celebrate his life will follow in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, interment will be in Lakeland Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Patricia Secrest Ross, five sons: Thomas Wallace Ross III (Christy), Matthew Secrest Ross (Sonya), Benjamin Dayton Ross (Alicia), Dr. Samuel Wade Ross (Stephanie), Patrick Neil Ross, five grandchildren: Marguerite Ross, Lorraine Ross, Danielle Ross, Gavin Ross, Willow Ross, two sisters: Barbara Ross, Caroline Ross.
