He was born on September 12th, 1958, in Bronx, New York to the late Albert and Vera Goosch.
Prior to moving to Monroe, NC, Timmy lived in Edison New Jersey, where he met the love of his life, Carol Symon Goosch. In 1990, they moved to Monroe, NC where they enjoyed riding ATVs, taking tropical cruises and going to the beach, especially Sanibel Island, FL. Their love for each other was genuine and truly inspirational.
Timmy worked at Southern Piedmont Community College in Facility Management for several years. In his spare time, Timmy enjoyed playing pool, watching sports, including his NY Giants, Carolina Panthers, and NY Yankees. He loved listening to classic rock and spending time with friends. He put a smile on the face of everyone who knew him and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; sister, Patricia Griffin, and brother, Ralph “Butchie” Goosch. He is survived by his brother, John Goosch; nieces, Jennifer Joyce (Mindy), Melissa Johnson (Kevin), nephews Ralph Goosch, Christopher Goosch, and Daniel Goosch; great niece, McKinley Johnson; and great nephew, Griffin Johnson.
He will always be known to his nieces and nephews as the “coolest” uncle. He will be greatly missed and the impact he had on many lives will live on forever. It brings us all great comfort to know that he and Carol are in each other’s arms once again.
A memorial service honoring Timmy’s life will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McEwen’s Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 S Main St, Monroe, NC 28112.
