He loved to stay fit and active whether it be walking or spending two days a week at the Aquatic Center. At the time of his homegoing he was a member of Grace Baptist Church. During his time as a member of Back to Bethel he faithfully taught Sunday School and lead Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting. Tommy also spent time every week teaching a Bible Study and ministering to those in nursing homes. He was quick to ask all he met if they were saved and if not, he offered to lead them to the Lord.
