Willie is predeceased by her husband, Grady James Helms and 4 siblings. She is survived by her children, Angela Melton, James Helms and Grady Helms; grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher and Grady James Threatt; great-grandchildren, Zackary, Hunter and Isaac Threatt and Alana and Isiah Beasley; and two siblings, Edward Lawrence Brown and Ellen Virginia Hayes. Willie loved spending time with her family, especially at family gatherings.
The family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Waxhaw City Cemetery.
