Arthur Joe Grant Jr.

Arthur Joe Grant, Jr, 90, of Montgomery, Alabama, died September 19th, 2024. Born in Dothan, Alabama to Arthur Joe and Louise Grant, Arthur Joe graduated from Auburn University in 1957 with a degree in architecture.

After graduating, Arthur Joe served as an officer in the Army Reserves, before embarking on a distinguished career that took him across the world. Arthur Joe studied architecture at the American Academy in Rome and city planning at the University of Tokyo, Japan. His passion for design and attention to detail left a lasting impact on every project he touched.

A resident of Montgomery, Alabama, Arthur Joe is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lulie Leatherbury Grant; their children, Lee Sellers (Will), Tom Grant (Tamara), and Lyn Calzia (Thomas); grandchildren Arthur Sellers (Emily), George Sellers (Savannah), Caroline Stewart (Zachary), William Grant, Flossie Grant, Charles Calzia and Edward Calzia; and great grandchildren Marel Sellers and William Sellers.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 11:00am at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be at 10:00 in the Westminster Room.
