Ashley Pugh

Ashley Age Pugh, 48, of Mathews, Alabama, passed away on October 4, 2026. She will remain a deeply rooted presence in the people and places she loved — devoted to her family, generous in spirit, and unwaveringly honest in the way she cared for others and spoke her mind.

Ashley’s heart belonged to her family and farm. Her husband of 24 years, Patrick, was the love of her life, and her son, J.P., was her heartbeat. She also held her father, Wayne (PawPaw), especially close, caring for him with steady devotion and strength—his rock in every sense of the word. Her brother, Stephen, also held a special place in her life.

Ashley devoted her working life to Beasley Allen Law Firm in the litigation technology field & secretary for 27 years with steadfast dedication and capability.

Ashley expressed her generous spirit through the beauty she created and shared. She loved making floral arrangements. She also enjoyed baking and sharing what she made, especially her pound cakes, given freely and warmly to others.

Her home reflected what she loved: her dog Charlie, her cat, M.F. (Mary Frances), and the brown cow print that surrounded her with familiar comfort.

Ashley was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances Age (MiMi) and father-in-law, George B. Pugh, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Pugh; son, J.P.; father, Wayne Age; brother, Stephen Age (Lindsey); mother-in-law who was like a second mother to her, Farley Pugh "Granny"; her beloved pets, Charlie and M.F. (Mary Frances); as well as a host of deeply loved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on October 13, 2026, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117.
