Bessie Blanche Duggar Kelley

KELLEY, Bessie Blanche, 85, of Montgomery, AL, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur T. Kelley, and a daughter Bessie Bridget Kelley. She is survived by her children Arthur Miles (Betty) Kelley, Rodger Maxwell (Lois) Kelley, Thomas Wright (Cheryl) Kelley, her caregivers, Gwendolyn Blanche (Robert) Henriksen, Dee Ann (Stephan) Seavert; brother, Lonzell Duggar; 18 grandchildren 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a beloved house wife and mother. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with her son Rodger Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The family request in lieu of food and flowers, memorials be made in her honor to a favorite charity. She will be missed and yet she will live forever in our hearts. We would like to thank some special people, Serena Scott, Tina Perdue, Debra Blevins, all from Southern Care Hospice. A very special heartfelt thanks to Bessie’s step grandson, Robert Adam Eiland for being such a good caregiver. Bessie would call him (Big Belly) and then smile. Pallbearers will be Thomas Kelley, Robert Eiland, Rodger Kelley, Miles Kelley and Stephan Seavert.
