Rob and Tammy, So sorry for the loss of your mother. I first met Betty when she was pregnant with Rob in Mobile, AL. I was a 15 year old spending the summer with my sister Nancye Russell. Was reacquainted with her in 1975 when I moved to Millbrook and then again when she joined the Montgomery Square Dance Group. Although I didn't see her in the past years I always kept her in my thoughts and prayers. She was a very special lady.

I worked with Ms. Betty at the Department of Public Safety in the 80's and 90's and she was a very sweet and dear lady. I will never forget her sweet spiritual nature.  I will sincerely miss her pretty kind smile that would make anyone feel good about themselves. She is an angel now smiling down on us with love.

Rob and Tammy, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. It was my honor to have had the pleasure of working with Betty and being her friend. She was a gentle, kind-hearted lady. I saw Betty at the Cancer Center when my husband was undergoing chemo and she was there for a check up. She took the time to go into the chemo room and give my Ronnie a pep talk! That was the kind of Lady she was! I was blessed to have had her as a friend. While you will miss your Mother please remember how blessed you were to have had her. She loved you dearly! Joan McGough

Tammy and Rob and families,your mother was blessed to have such loving and devoted  family.  She loved all of you with all her heart ,we talked about it often.  I will miss her ,and our phone conversations.

So very sorry to hear of this loss! Betty was a friend and a wonderful neighbor. I've only know Betty since 2008, but she was a very good person and she loved her yard! It was always beautiful in the spring and summer. She will be greatly missed!!! Our condolences to both Tammy and Rob and their families.
