On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, The Lord called Beverly Ray Love, M.D. home. The “Good Doctor” hung up his scrubs to be with The Lord. Beverly filled the world with love, compassion, and kindness. He loved his sports and Alabama Football Team (Roll Tide) and the North Carolina Tarheels Basketball team. Beverly was their number one fan. Everyone knew not to call or text him during game time. Beverly attended as many games as possible with his wife at his side. Beverly and his dear wife loved to travel to interesting places across the United States and the Caribbean Islands. One of Beverly’s favorite trips was traveling to Hawaii with his wife Kathryn. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Beverly once said about the ABC Program experience, “It changed our lives; we got used to putting forth maximum effort,” he said. “Once you adjust to this kind of life-changing activity when you are young, nothing else stresses you out. You’ve been through the fire.”
