

Ms. Catherine Jackson was born to the late Thomas Garrison and Eliza Garrison. She received Christ at an early age where she soon join Weeping Mary A.M.E. Zion Church where she met and married the late Rev. Willie James Jackson in 1953. She was the first lady and became and Eastern Star and served her church faithfully.
She was preceded in death by the late Rev. Willie Jackson, her son Jeffery Jackson, two brothers, and fours sisters: she leaves to cherish memories of three daughters: Carolyn Jackson, Doris Higgins, Stephanie Jackson all of Montgomery, al and one son James Jackson: nine grand-children: Britney, Shannie, Demond, Angel, Jad ‘Darius, James, Shantraya, Shatiki, Shaquita, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Three brothers: Wilbur(Thelma) Garrison, Debra Garrison all of Montgomery, AL, Johnny lee (Hilda) of Hoover, al. She leaves to cherish memories with devoted nieces: Millie Johnson, Nancy Herron, Pat Garrison, Consuella Dumas, Voncille Dumas, Angie Flowers, devoted nephews: Bennie Johnson, Rodney Johnson, Micheal Wilson and a great-nephew George Wilson who she loved very much.
A special thanks to Baptist Family Medicine ( Dr. Gupta M.D.),Baptist Cancer Center and Baptist Hospice (Isabeth Morris (RN), Jackie( Hospice Aide), and a special thanks to Britney, her granddaughter; Doris her daughter who served as her caregiver.

A funeral service for Catherine will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117.
