Charles “Chuck” Samuel Snider, Jr., age 58, passed away September 6, 2017. Chuck graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Building Science, he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He obtained his pilot’s license and enjoying flying in his spare time. Chuck was a project manager and business developer for Brown and Root International and Blount International. He went on to develop and own Tiger Construction and was currently the head of construction for Smith Ironworks.
Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Sue Anne Brooks Snider. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Davis Snider; his children, Davis Marie and Devan Susanne Snider; his father, Charles Samuel Snider, Sr. (Nancy); his sister, Susan Snider Kennedy; and his nephew, Robby Brantley.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 10th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Young Meadows Presbyterian Church. Celebration of Chuck’s life will begin at 2:00 pm. Donations may be made to Brantwood Children’s Home in Chuck’s name.
