RABREN, Dorothy K. (“Dot”), age 72, a Montgomery resident, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011. Her Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 20, 2011, at 3 PM, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Northcutt officiating. Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery, and her Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-3PM, prior to the service.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Diane Rabren, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Blount, and brothers, Ed and Eugene Kelley, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harold Rabren; her daughter, Debbie Rabren Kirkland; her grand-daughters, Laurie Proctor (Jeff) and Kerrie Holloway (Chad); and special friend, Bill Hughes. Pallbearers will be Jim Ellis, Ronnie Kay, Earl Mills, Donnie Rabren, Matt Rabren, and Mike Rabren. Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Mills Stickle Sunday School Class, and Memorials may be made in Dot’s honor to the Eastmont Baptist Church Building Fund.
