

She is survived by her beloved husband Milton Taff, and their seven children: Terry Kilts, Jerry Taff (LuAnne), Mickey Taff (Jane), Kathy Faulk, Joey Taff, Betsy Hosp, and Davy Taff and her 14 grandchildren: Chrissy McConaughy and Ashley Joyce, Jessica and Shelby Taff, Rebecca, Jennifer and Emily Taff, Brandon Taff, Andrew, Jordan and James Hosp, and Madilyn, Lauren and Lillian Taff, and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Anna Golemon Jordan and Clarence E. Jordan, and brothers COL Clarence E. Jordan, Jr., Kirk Jordan and Al Jordan.
Eloise was born in Montgomery growing up in old Oak Park. She went to Loretto Catholic High School and graduated in 1948. She went on to attend Auburn University and was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. While at Auburn she met the love of her life and they married in 1951. After several years of Army life, they lived in Auburn for 14 year, then returned to Montgomery in 1971.
Eloise was a devout Catholic and a long-time member of St. Bede Church. Her proudest accomplishment was her children and her biggest joy was spending time with family. She was passionate about Auburn football and also had a penchant for a spin on the dance floor with her favorite partner.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Bede Catholic Church, with visitation held one hour prior in the Parish Hall. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be John Jordan, Pat Jordan, Mark Jordan, Brian Jordan, Brandon Taff and Andrew Hosp.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to Hospice of Montgomery.
